Meet Michael D Goodman

Michael Goodman’s passion for sales is rooted in the passion for helping others achieve their goals. And helping companies foster the spirit of genuine success, service and dignity into every sales person.

After being fired from his first sales job, by his own father, Michael became obsessed with the sales process and how to make it work in a variety of selling environments. Michael spent five years in extensive research into the selling process. He carefully evaluated the physics of selling, how selling integrated with one’s spirituality and all the physiological factors that went into successful selling. Michael discovered how companies and sales professionals were using different processes and how those processes impacted their ability to create accurate forecasting and establish a predictable pipeline. Realizing that few selling processes addressed the bottom line needs company while supporting the dignity and beliefs of the sales person, Michael was determined to create a solution.

Through this painstaking journey, Michael D Goodman formed the renowned Solomon Sales Process and the Solomon Sales Platform, which addresses the numbers world of the company, while creating a match with the individual beliefs of the sales person.

Since all of history recognizes King Solomon as the “wisest of all men”, it became the logical and connected name sake for Solomon Sales. The Solomon Sales Platform is designed to bring wisdom to the organization, creating tangible results in the areas of forecasting, market share and the value of their pipeline, while showing sales people how to find people who want to buy from them and create value and dignity in the day to day selling process.

Michael’s commitment to the sales professional lead to the founding of Sales Pro’s International, AZ Sales Pro’s with many individual chapters and later his Executive Cigar Summits where the challenges and solutions of sales team is discussed over cigars and brandy. Michael is currently in the process of creating the American Sales Academy.

Michael has played in influential role in selling success in such companies as MicroAge, Icon, Executrain, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers and Glynlyon Learning Companies.
